My name is Anne Elster and I am an Art Director from Hamburg, Germany.
In the last 8 years at deepblue networks I have created both digital and print content for a wide range of clients. The products I have helped create range from smartphone apps to print campaigns as well as a variety of websites.
Besides my day job I have constantly been creating illustrations and broadened my skills. I have been gathering experience as a tutorial author for Envato Tuts+ and as a Community Volunteer on DeviantArt.
I am looking to concentrate my future work on the creation of digital products with a focus on user interface design.
What my résumé won’t tell you, is that I am a dog person and I like my tea strong and with lots of sugar. Unfortunately plants are not my friends, so I decided to get a cactus instead.
In my spare time I like to sit back and enjoy a good book or watch a capturing movie or show. You may also find me in the kitchen working on a new cupcake recipe or a hearty meal.
These are just a few insights into my life. Check out some of my online profiles if you want to know more about me.
As a graphic designer I work on emotional landing pages, professional corporate brand websites or complex applications.
In my approach, the client's needs and the user experience are the driving factors in workflow. These two key elements make for a great product that is enjoyable to use and helps the client grow.
I work fast and focused to reach the best possible solution to any problem I am faced with.
At the beginning of every project a team of concept, development and design outlines the score and decides on the necessary steps for implementation.
I work on the client briefing with the goal of creating the best possible user experience.
I create layouts based on the initial briefing, the concept and underlying visual guidelines.
In different layouts I explore the user interface to find the best solution for the problems and goals at hand.
Part of the design process is also to prepare the layouts for development and to test the final product.
Last changes and optimization are implemented and everything is prepared for launch.
